La Flame's Jordan 6's Set Nike Ablaze

Nike was met with disappointed fans last Friday when Travis Scottā€™s Air Jordan 6's dropped. After months of build-up surrounding the hype, sneakerheads swarmed Nikeā€™s SNKRS appā€” only to be met with lag due to the insanely large number of buyers trying to quench their thirst for the new kicks.

La Flame debuted the new Jordans back in February, in a full fit pic posted by his photographer. He showed them off live just a few hours later--during the 2019 Super Bowl halftime show--with almost 100 million people in witness.

Continuing the earth tones from his previous collab, the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 33 NRG collection, he took it a step further with the Jordan 6s by adding on special details such as a subtle canvas material, a tiny cargo pocket, and glow-in-the-dark outsoles, claiming it expresses his love for vintage military gear. Retailing at US$250, Travis Scottā€™s Air Jordan 6s are currently reselling for US$600-1500 on eBay.

In early 2017, the first Nike collab dropped and the Travis Scott x Nike Air Force 1 AF100 was born. The man shot to fame thanks to his Astroworld album, and who could forget his viral relationship with Kylie Jenner? Literally ā€œstarted from the bottomā€, Travis Scott is here now with an estimated US$40 million net worth. Two years and eight shoes later, itā€™s safe to say weā€™re only expecting to see more of La Flame in the sneakerhead rotation.
