Remixing the Michael Jordan shoes famously banned by the NBA previously, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Patent ‘Bred’ gives the black and red hues a glossy makeover. The archetypal overlays are dressed in Varsity Red and drape over a black base, and both have a glimmering finish. A woven Nike tag is featured on the tongue, while the collar flap has a stamped Wings logo on it. A homage to a challenge to authority, this 2021 release manages to honour MJ’s 1984 rebellion, while also putting a punchy twist on the look.
